Information system on philosophy of science

Presentation

The SIPS Program is meant to provide both researchers and people at large with a multilingual database for online multicriterion requests. Bibliographical references related to the philosophy of science field for the XXth and XXIrst centuries (monographs, as well as periodical issues, proceedings, miscellaneous items, dissertations...) are available as full reviews which include keyword descriptors and abstracts.

Such a co-operating scheme is intended to perform online navigation, browsing for documents when available, authors, publishers, libraries and philosophy of science centers as well. This program plans to fulfill the purpose of completeness and accuracy as to the conveyed information, and to meet these requirements in the time to come.

This program is worked up by the Centre de documentation et de bibliographie philosophiques (CDBP), University of Franche-Comté, which is part of the Laboratoire de recherches philosophiques sur les sciences de l’action, EA 2274. It is hosted by the Maison des sciences de l’homme et de l’environnement (MSHE) Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (USR-CNRS 3124).
